On December 4, 2005 we will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during our morning worship service. Also, on December 4th, we will be taking up a special offering during our communion service. This offering will be divided between our missionaries we financially support and our Faith Church deacon fund. (Our December communion is usually divided between our deacons fund and the MTW Compassion Ministry, but we sent an offering to the MTW Compassion Ministry during Hurricane Katrina).

Our annual congregational meeting – covered dish dinner has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 14th. There will be a covered dish dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. followed at 7:30 p.m. by a brief Prayer & Praise, then the meeting with a presentation of the 2006 budget. This is a very important meeting and all Faith members are encouraged to attend.

Can you help? Have the blessing of meeting all brothers and sisters who come to worship at Faith Church. We need door greeters for next year. The 2006 Door Greeter sign up sheet is on the bulletin board in the vestibule. Please prayerfully consider helping out in this area.

Missionary Updates

Don and Fran McNeill – Uganda: On Dec. 12th Don and Fran will be flying to the US. For the next 6-12 months they will be raising support for another four years on the field. Recently Don went to Rwanda with a man named Phanuel who has a desire for theological education. There are 12 churches in Rwanda where the church buildings are made of vertical and horizontal poles interlaced with leaves. They hope to have permanent buildings one day. Prayer requests for the McNeills: A car to use while in the US, that God would provide additional support, the spring Ugandan Presidential elections would go peacefully, that the students at the Uganda Bible Institute would catch a vision of true discipleship and that they have a good visit with family and friends while in the US.
