From Faith to Faith
April 2005 VOL. XXI No. 4
PASTOR: Dr. Carl W. Bogue
Ladies of Faith Church:
WIC will begin meeting again on Saturday, April 2nd. Breakfast will be provided and begin at 9:00 a.m, followed by a business meeting at 9:30 a.m. This meeting will be based on John 6:32.
Jesus therefore said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven.”
After the business meeting we will have a “bread exchange”. Bring a loaf of your favorite homemade bread to share. Also, bring along a few copies of your recipe. Please see the sign up sheet on the vestibule table. It is not mandatory that you sign up if you want to attend, however, it does assist the ladies providing breakfast to know how many to plan for.
Also, during the April meeting we will have a “necessity shower” for Jennifer Lewis and her coming covenant child. Bring a small, unwrapped, anonymous gift to put in the gift basket. Please hold the gift to $5 or less. The idea is not to financially burden anyone, but to welcome this new covenant child with love.
Coming up in May....the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet will be held Friday, May 6th. More information regarding the banquet and ticket prices will be available in a few weeks. This event will be catered and advance tickets will be on sale. All ladies of Faith Church are encouraged to attend and bring as many guests as you wish.
Morning Nursery:
This is the Sunday for which you have been assigned responsibility for the nursery during morning worship. If you are unable to provide care on your day please find a replacement.

Missions Update
McNeills – Uganda: This June the first class of the Uganda Bible Institute will be graduating 21 of 23 lay readers of the first UBI class. The 21 have been ordained before graduation because of the dire need of leadership. Pray for the new classes that will start in August, that the classes offered would be relevant, the schedule efficient, and the students of God’s choosing will be recruited.
Reformation Christian Ministries: In Russia RCM’s two greatest needs are to continue to assist in providing funding for publishing needs and to begin a theological training program. There is a great need for funds to assist in translating the entire seminary program into Russian courses. The starting cost is large, however after that time they hope it could become self-sustaining. Please pray for this project.
David Jones – Ivory Coast: David will be traveling to Senegal and then on to Ivory Coast for a few days. He requests safety and that he will use his short time there wisely. Pray that he will be able to connect with all the people he needs to see and encourage the church and their leaders that they are loved and not forgotten.
Prayer Requests
Feb. 18: Debra Kobb’s father passed away. She was able to be at his bedside. Please pray for God’s strength and comfort for the entire family. Also pray this could be a testimony to unsaved family and friends.

March for Life 2005 Report
On January 23, 2005, I left on the bus for Washington, D.C., for the 32nd annual March for Life. I got there on Monday, January 24th, at about 6:00 a.m. The rally does not start right away; it starts at noon.
Tens of thousands of men, women, boys and girls come from all over the United States and across the ocean. There were U. S. Senators that are pro-life present to address the rally. President George W. Bush addressed the rally by live hookup. The march started at the Ellipse and ended at the U.S. Supreme Court. There was a new chant that was started that went like this:
“Who are we here for? .... THE BABIES!”
“Who do we love? .... THE BABIES!”
One news report estimated the crowd at nearly 280,000. I hope I can get more people to go for the 2006 March for Life.
