1. VBS still needs ONE DAY VOLUNTEERS. Anyone can chose to help us make a gospel impression on the children by giving us just three hours out of the whole week. You will be a helper in an area where we need assistance. Please inform Dave Rastetter immediately if you can help.
Another way you can help is being a VBS LUNCH DONATION VOLUNTEER. If you can help with a cash gift toward hearty lunches for the workers it would be most appreciated. The teachers and workers can then focus on their studies and resting up for the next day. Please give the money to Melinda Althuis.
Invite your grandchildren and neighbors to our VBS. All children ages 4-12 are welcome. Also, please pray for the success of our VBS this year that we might reach many children with the gospel. And in all of this, to God be the Glory.
--- Dave Rastetter, VBS Director

2. The fall L.A.M.B.S. (Ladies AM Bible Study) is scheduled to start Wednesday, Sept. 1st. The fall session will be a video series by Beth Moore entitled “Breaking Free”. Workbooks will be provided free of charge to all interested ladies. Please see Susan Brown no later than Aug. 15th if you are interested. L.A.M.B.S. will meet every first and third Wednesday of each month.

3. Faith Church has plans for a new church pictorial directory. A sign up sheet is on the vestibule table for all families (members and regular attenders) to sign up. Photos will be taken August 19th. If you miss this day the back up date is September 21st. Please come 10-15 minutes early for your appointment. There are flyers on the vestibule table with more information. If you have any questions please see Elder Jim Bruder.

4. Joint Worship Service of Three Reformed Denominations
The announcement below was sent out by our Presbytery, asking that it be announced in our churches. As you will see, Dr. Bogue is preaching. While you are welcome to join in that worship, session, in approving our pastor’s involvement realizes that many of our members would be unable to attend, so our regular evening service will continue as normal. Here is the announcement as received from the Presbytery of the Ascension.

There will be a joint worship service of the PCA, RPCNA, and OPC congregations on August 15, 2004 at 5:45 p.m. The location will be the Pew Fine Arts Center on the Campus of Grove City College. Preaching this year will be PCA minister, Dr. Carl Bogue from Faith Presbyterian Church in Akron, Ohio. Following the service refreshments will be served in the Pew Fine Arts Center. The offering, after covering expenses, will be designated for Bethany Christian Services.

All the Campbell children miss their friends in Spain. Please ask God to supply good friends in the states for them. The Campbells rejoice that there is a Home schooling Cooperative in South Carolina.
