This year marks the 35^th year since the beginning of Faith Presbyterian Church.  In celebration of the faithful proclamation of the Word of God in Akron and the blessings that that Word has bestowed on his people, we have called for a special time of celebration and reflection on the past, present and future of God’s work through this church.   We plan to hold a number of special events on the weekend of September 17^th through the 19^th of this year.   As a former member and “product” of the congregation we wish to extend a special invitation to you to return and help us celebrate the past and present work of the church by telling us about your current ministry and sharing how Faith Presbyterian Church helped you to grow in your walk with the Lord.   We are only in the initial planning stages but expect that we will have a program that includes a Friday evening and Saturday morning fellowship time as well as our regular Sunday worship services.  We will have a limited number of member homes open for hospitality, if you so desire.  For now we hope that you will keep these dates free.  Additional information will be forthcoming from me and through our church website.

We would also ask your assistance in tracking down former members and friends of Faith Presbyterian Church.  We will send out an invitation to everyone who might be interested in the commemoration.  Could you forward the addresses via mail, email or phone?
